DR. CHARLES SHAVERS, DDS
Hi, I’m Dr. Shavers and I’d like to personally welcome you to O2 Dental. Although I’m not originally from North Carolina this state is definitely my home! Before becoming a dentist, I grew up in Alabama where I dreamed of having a career where my work would have a direct, positive impact on other people. I achieved that goal when I graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.
After completing dental school, I spent several years caring for patients as a Public Health Dentist in Dunn and Raleigh, North Carolina. That time was so fulfilling. Fortunately, I now have the opportunity to care for patients in this community which is so much closer to home.
I get a lot of satisfaction interacting with dental patients, whether it’s your child’s first visit to the dentist, the emergency with a toothache, or someone who just wants to improve the appearance of their teeth and smile. No two patients are ever the same so every day at the dental office is a new experience. In fact, one of the reasons I maintain Continuing Education and my professional dental memberships is to be ready for my time with you.
Currently, I’m a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. When not working in the office I like to spend my time watching football, learning to paint, traveling to new places and, most of all, spending as much time as possible with my wife Felicia (she’s a Pediatric dentist) and our daughter Harper.
